Skills-Based Groups

Skills-based groups bring people together to learn and practice skills such healthy communication, anxiety reduction, or specific therapeutic models (such as CBT or DBT). These groups are time-limited, education based and structured. Skills groups are very common as many people find value in learning and practicing new skills alongside their peers.

Getting started with a therapy group

Prior to joining a group you will be scheduled for a 20-minute consultation phone call to determine the best fit for both you and the group. This meeting is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have.
