I work with adults in both group and individual settings, specializing in anxiety-reduction, trauma-informed care, and untangling codependency. I also have a special interest in PTSD and serving those impacted by another’s addiction/alcoholism. I practice numerous therapy methodologies including Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral (DBT), Mindfulness, and Body-Awareness.

I believe each person is unique and use this perspective to approach each person with individualized care and attention. I enjoy combining therapy with laughter and levity to help clients frame and rebuild their personal story. As a counselor, I feel my job is to reinforce your internal resilience while helping you to align your actions with your values and desired goals.

I hold a Masters in Clinical Social Work as well as an undergraduate degree in Spirituality and Well-Being from George Mason University. I have additional training in EMDR, DBT, Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) for Eating Concerns.

I was raised in Fairfax County, and have a keen understanding of the pressures that living and working in NOVA and the D.C. area can bare. When i’m not with clients i’m usually indulging in a craft, enjoying a good book, or spending time with those I hold dear.
